Changping District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was founded in 1984 as Changping County Traditional Chinese Medicine Outpatient Department and was officially established on December 26, 1992. Since its establishment ten years ago, the hospital has relied on scientific management, taken reform as the overall guide, and continuously innovated for development, determining the hospital-running policy of "patient-centered, quality as core, characteristics as advantage," with "high quality, efficiency, low consumption" as the overall goal, taking the path of developing the hospital through science and technology. In June 1995, it was named "Baby-Friendly Hospital" by UNICEF, WHO, and the Ministry of Health. In October of the same year, it was rated as "Secondary Grade A Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital" by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
