Beijing Fengtai District Youwai Hospital (Youanmen Street Community Health Service Center) was founded in 1954 as a Grade I-A hospital directly under Fengtai District Health Bureau. It is a designated hospital for Beijing's public medical care, major disease coordination, and medical insurance, and a designated cooperative unit of Xuanwu Hospital, responsible for nearly 100,000 diagnosis and treatment tasks in the Youanmen area and prevention, treatment, healthcare, rehabilitation, health education, and family planning technical guidance work in the area. The hospital has emergency department, general practice outpatient clinic, comprehensive ward, dentistry, traditional Chinese medicine, gynecology, surgery, and other specialty clinics, specializing in treating cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and lumbar and leg pain. It has auxiliary departments including laboratory, radiology, and functional examination. The hospital has junior, intermediate, and senior professional technical personnel, equipped with cardiac monitors, 24-hour dynamic electrocardiography, 500mA X-ray machine, cardiac and abdominal B-ultrasound, and over 10 pieces of medical equipment valued at over 100,000 yuan, and 32 pieces of equipment valued at over 10,000 yuan. Over the years, it has treated and rescued numerous acute, critical, and severe patients, receiving welcome from local residents.
