Beijing Puren Hospital is a modern comprehensive Grade II hospital and a Beijing medical insurance designated medical institution, as well as a teaching hospital of Capital Medical University. Puren Hospital has over a hundred years of history, founded in 1900. After liberation, it was renamed Beijing Fourth Hospital. During the hospital's centennial celebration in 2000, the hospital name was restored to Beijing Puren Hospital. The hospital currently has three campuses, covering 20,000 square meters with a building area of 42,000 square meters. The hospital has 21 clinical and medical technology departments, 2 community health service centers, 12 wards, and 550 approved beds.
