Beijing Second Hospital was founded in 1945. After decades of struggle, it has developed into a "Grade II Class A" comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, research, and prevention, and a medical insurance designated unit. The hospital adheres to the mission of "quality first, service first, patient first," gradually forming comprehensive advantages of complete professional departments, staff with various specialties, and low diagnosis and treatment costs. The hospital has established Xichang'an Street Community Health Service Center, providing residents in the jurisdiction with six-in-one comprehensive health services of prevention, treatment, healthcare, rehabilitation, health education, and family planning, with community as scope, family as unit, and health as goal. Whether clinical departments such as internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, dermatology, traditional Chinese medicine, ophthalmology and ENT, stomatology, or auxiliary departments such as radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, pharmacy, all have associate chief physicians or above providing consultations. The center's CT, color ultrasound, breast ultrasound, gastroscopy, colposcopy, and other examination equipment can provide clear help for clinical diagnosis. Physiotherapy, massage, acupressure, acupuncture, equipment training, traditional Chinese medicine decoction and provide an economical optional path for chronic disease treatment, diabetes control, and lipid reduction and weight loss. During hospital infrastructure construction, the hospital's outpatient department is currently located at No. B9 Xironxian.
