Zhongguancun Hospital was established in 1957, originally called "Chinese Academy of Sciences Western Suburb Outpatient Department." It was renamed "Chinese Academy of Sciences Zhongguancun Hospital" in 1962, and in 1964 was transferred to the district government and renamed "Beijing Zhongguancun Hospital." On March 12, 2014, Haidian District Government and the Chinese Academy of Sciences signed the "Framework Agreement on Cooperative Construction of Beijing Zhongguancun Hospital," and on November 18, 2015, it was officially named "Chinese Academy of Sciences Zhongguancun Hospital." After nearly 60 years of historical accumulation, adhering to the entrepreneurial spirit of "unity, dedication, rigor, and diligence," it has developed into a district-owned Grade II-A comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, research, prevention, and community health services.
