Capital Medical University Affiliated Beijing Stomatological Hospital was founded in 1945 and is a Grade III Class A stomatological specialty hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, research, and prevention. The hospital is divided into Tiantan Department and Wangfujing Department. The Tiantan Department is located on the southwest side of the ancient Temple of Heaven Park, and the Wangfujing Department is located in Xila Hutong in Beijing's Wangfujing central business district, with beautiful environment and complete facilities. Throughout over 70 years of development, the hospital has followed the motto of "strict, refined, diligent, cautious," adhering to a rigorous scientific attitude, pursuing excellent medical technology, wholeheartedly relieving various oral diseases for patients, creating a comfortable and harmonious medical atmosphere, and receiving honors such as Double Top Ten People's Satisfactory Hospital and Capital Civilized Unit. The hospital covers a total area of 23,000 square meters with a building area of 33,312 square meters. The hospital has 16 clinical departments: endodontics, periodontics, oral mucosa, oral and maxillofacial surgery outpatient, oral and maxillofacial head and neck tumor surgery, oral and maxillofacial plastic and trauma surgery, anesthesiology, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, geriatric dentistry, oral emergency comprehensive diagnosis and treatment center, oral prevention, oral special needs and MDT center, oral implantology, and Wangfujing comprehensive department; 5 medical technology departments: pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, pathology, and prosthodontic fabrication center. The hospital has a total of 295 advanced dental comprehensive treatment chairs from Germany, Japan, Finland and other countries, with 100 approved beds and 62 open beds, capable of treating various oral and maxillofacial diseases. In 2018, outpatient and emergency visits exceeded 850,000, with daily average outpatient visits exceeding 3,100 and annual inpatient admissions exceeding 2,600. It has obtained four "National Clinical Key Specialty" construction projects in oral categories: oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics. Beijing Dental Disease Prevention Institute is affiliated with our hospital, undertaking projects such as organizing free pit and fissure sealant prevention of dental caries for school-age children throughout the city.
