Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital Huifu Branch was founded in 1946, formerly known as Guangzhou Central Hospital. The branch is composed of the original Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital Huifu West Outpatient Department, Guangdong Mental Health Institute, Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital Respiratory Ward and Vascular Neurology Ward, and Guangdong Provincial Clinical Laboratory Center. It is a multifunctional comprehensive treatment center integrating medical treatment, teaching, research, prevention, healthcare and rehabilitation. The branch has over 300 staff members, including over 100 senior technical personnel, with daily outpatient visits of over 2,000.
