Longjin Street Community Health Service Center was established in October 2004 as a government-run non-profit community health service center and a designated medical insurance unit. It currently has 1,500 square meters of medical business premises and 56 professional technical personnel, including 17 with intermediate or above professional titles. It is responsible for prevention, medical treatment, healthcare, scientific research, health education, and family planning technical guidance for 54,000 local residents and units including government agencies, enterprises, service industries, schools, and nurseries within the jurisdiction. Our center is a technical cooperation unit of Guangzhou Medical University Liwan Hospital, possessing advanced medical equipment including 200MAX X-ray machine, B-ultrasound detector, semi-automatic biochemical analyzer, blood rheology analyzer, infrared scanner, microwave therapy device, and radiofrequency therapy device. With excellent technology and enthusiasm, we provide quality and convenient medical services to community residents. The center has departments including employee physical examination, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, traditional Chinese medicine miscellaneous diseases, traditional Chinese medicine specialty, stomatology, and preventive healthcare. In addition to Chinese and Western medical outpatient services, it also provides home sickbeds, medical house calls, infant vaccination, and maternal and child healthcare services. It has a subordinate Wen'an Outpatient Department. Clinical research on traditional Chinese medicine cough and asthma specialty diseases is the center's characteristic specialty, with a technically experienced team. In 2005, this specialty research was approved. The integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of traditional Chinese medicine specialty, traditional Chinese medicine miscellaneous diseases, cerebrovascular disease, hypertension, and diabetes is the center's advantage. The six major functional services of prevention, medical treatment, healthcare, scientific research, health education, and family planning technical guidance are the main tasks of community health services. The center undertakes internship tasks for Guangzhou Health School community health services and is a community nursing internship unit.
