Panyu District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is located in the city center of Panyu District, Guangzhou. Founded in April 1958, after 45 years of development, the hospital has grown continuously. Currently with 300 regular beds, three outpatient clinics, 24-hour emergency department providing emergency services, and 3 ambulances ready at all times, with daily outpatient volume exceeding 1,600 visits. In 1997, it passed the national Grade II-A traditional Chinese medicine hospital evaluation, becoming a Grade II-A traditional Chinese medicine hospital. In 1999, it was approved as a teaching hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. In 2000, it was recognized as a qualified unit for key traditional Chinese medicine emergency department construction in Guangzhou's "Ninth Five-Year Plan" Xinglin Project. In 2001, it became a key traditional Chinese medicine orthopedics construction unit in Guangzhou's "1357" Project. In recent years, it has achieved multiple national achievements and has been awarded advanced units at provincial, municipal, and district levels and the title of Guangdong Province Civilized Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital for many years.
