Our hospital has a long history. Its predecessor was Guangzhou Municipal Government Health Clinic, renamed Guangzhou Municipal Public Medical Outpatient Department in December 1953; following 1960 urban area division, renamed Guangzhou Yuexiu District Workers' People's Hospital; in November 2008, Yuexiu District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Yuexiu District Workers' People's Hospital merged, officially named Yuexiu District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. Over fifty years, the hospital's scale, medical professional standards, technical team, and other aspects have continuously developed and improved. It is a comprehensive hospital integrating clinical medical treatment, preventive healthcare, scientific research, teaching, and community health service guidance center. In recent years, continuously strengthening traditional Chinese medicine advantages, inheriting and developing traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment essence, exploring and innovating medical purpose and health security service model innovation, striving to build a brand traditional Chinese medicine hospital with both comprehensive and characteristic specialties. The hospital possesses advanced equipment including high-speed spiral CT, imported color B-ultrasound, electronic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, laparoscopy, transcranial Doppler, brain topography, treadmill electrocardiography, 24-hour dynamic electrocardiography, X-ray digital CR system, fully automatic biochemical analyzer, and other instruments, as well as modern laminar flow operating rooms. Besides conducting traditional surgeries, it can also conduct minimally invasive surgeries. It also has a relatively complete rehabilitation physiotherapy area, basically meeting clinical diagnosis and treatment needs. Comprehensive strength has consistently been at the forefront of Guangzhou municipal district-level medical units. It is the designated physical examination hospital for most provincial, municipal, and district-level enterprises and institutions.
