Guangzhou Haizhu District Red Cross Hospital is a Grade I Class A hospital in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, and a designated medical institution for outpatient, inpatient, and home sickbed special outpatient projects by Guangzhou Medical Insurance Center. The outpatient department has Western internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, traditional Chinese internal medicine, traditional Chinese orthopedics, physiotherapy, and community home sickbed departments. The community has Nanshitou Poly Hongmian Community Health Service Station and Longfeng Street Second Community Health Service Station, gradually extending our hospital's health services from inside the hospital to outside, entering communities and homes. Future work focus will be expanding community health services, conducting community medical two-way referral, home nursing, hospice care, home oxygen delivery, and other health services. The inpatient department is divided into two wards, mainly admitting geriatric diseases, chronic disease recovery period, and terminal cancer patients, conducting hospice care and other health services. Due to our hospital's special service targets, we have established a complete nursing worker management system, implementing 24-hour nursing for inpatients. Through years of clinical practice, we have accumulated rich experience in diagnosis, treatment, and nursing of geriatric diseases and various chronic diseases, also receiving recognition from all sectors of society. Currently, our hospital inpatient department further leverages geriatric ward management strengths, preparing to further expand diagnosis, treatment, and nursing work into communities and homes. Our hospital has 2 senior health technical professionals (associate chief physicians); 13 intermediate health technical professionals (11 attending physicians, 2 head nurses); 110 junior health technical personnel (physicians, nurses, medical practitioners, nurses, technicians, etc.). This year, our hospital has been designated by Guangzhou Municipal Health Bureau as a Guangzhou demonstration community health service center, a Guangzhou Medical College general practitioner internship base, and a Guangzhou Health School community nurse internship base.
