The Second Affiliated Hospital of PLA General Hospital (formerly PLA 309 Hospital) was established in 1958. After 47 years of development, it has become the largest Grade III Class A comprehensive hospital in northwest Beijing. The hospital houses the PLA Tuberculosis Center and a Transplant Medicine Center that has performed 1,420 kidney transplants, 186 liver transplants, and successfully completed heart, liver-kidney, pancreas-kidney combined transplants. Departments including orthopedics, general surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, gastroenterology, and traditional Chinese medicine enjoy high reputation. Currently, the hospital has over 1,000 beds and more than 1,200 medical staff, including 130 senior professionals, over 100 doctoral and master's degree holders. The hospital is equipped with advanced medical equipment worth 160 million yuan, including 1.5T MRI, 16-slice spiral CT, DSA, and other state-of-the-art facilities.
