Gucun Town Community Health Service Center relocated to its current site in November 2000. The new hospital covers 32.7 acres with a building area of 8,900 square meters. In 2001, according to regional health planning, it merged with the original Liuhang Health Center to form the new Gucun District Hospital. At the end of 2002, it passed Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau standardized community health service center acceptance, with 20 approved beds and 60 available beds. The original Liuhang Health Center outpatient building, after renovation and decoration, established Gucun Town Liuhang Community Health Service Station, with total investment of 1.37 million yuan and renovation area of 996 square meters. Gucun Town Community Health Service Center, through the joint efforts of all staff, adhering to the service mission of "patient supremacy, health priority, service excellence, quality foremost," serves patients wholeheartedly. In August 1997, it received the title of "Advanced Unit for Joint Construction of Socialist Spiritual Civilization between Military and Civilians" issued by the Central Organization Department and PLA General Political Department. From 1989 to 2004, it was consecutively rated as a district civilized unit for eight terms. In 1994, it obtained the title of Model Unit for Joint Construction and Education between Military and Civilians. In 2001-2002, it was rated as Baoshan District Advanced Collective for Joint Construction of Socialist Spiritual Civilization between Military and Civilians. In 2003, it obtained the town's "Anti-SARS" Advanced Unit. The nursing group obtained Baoshan District Health Bureau Civilized Team, District Civilized Team, and District "New Long March Assault Team" titles in 1999, 2001, and 2003 respectively. The pharmacy obtained Shanghai Civilized Standardized Service Window in 1995 and Baoshan District Health Bureau Red Flag Civilized Post in 1999. The preventive healthcare department obtained Baoshan District Health System Civilized Team in 2000 and was rated as Baoshan District Advanced Collective from 2001 to 2003. Over the years, community resident satisfaction rate has continuously remained above 90%. Gucun Town Community Health Service Center currently has 89 medical technical personnel, including 16 intermediate and senior professionals, accounting for 17.98% of all medical technical personnel. It has Aloka B-ultrasound, AF-128 biochemical analyzer, ABX blood cell counter, electrocardiograph, low-frequency therapy device, Siemens 800mA X-ray machine and 500mA X-ray machine each, KS-4A laser therapy device, brain color ultrasound, and other examination and physiotherapy equipment. Service items involve internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, traditional Chinese internal medicine, stomatology, gynecology, acupuncture, etc. The center's excellent hardware and software configuration lays a solid foundation for providing residents with quality and affordable medical services. In 2005, through renovation, the center established four standardized community health service stations in Zhujiannong, Guiwang, Gongfu, and Tanyang, passing district health bureau acceptance. It actively conducts "six-in-one" community health services, establishes family health records with dynamic management, forms community health service teams to provide convenient and quality health services to local residents. Gucun Town Community Health Service Center has a beautiful environment with reasonable department settings and a greening rate of 33.7%.
