Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center is a Grade III Class A hospital with a century of history, also known as Fudan University Affiliated Public Health Clinical Center and Fudan University Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital South Campus. Founded in 1914, it was relocated and developed as the municipal government's "Project No. 1" in 2004. The main campus is located in Jinshan District, Shanghai, covering 503 acres with a building area of 115,304.51 square meters; the branch is located in Hongkou District, covering 45 acres with a building area of 26,026 square meters. The hospital currently has 660 approved beds with clinical departments including general surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopedics, pain management, urology, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, ICU, gastroenterology, general internal medicine, respiratory medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, nephrology, cardiology, pediatrics, anesthesiology, stomatology, ENT, ophthalmology, hepatology, hepatobiliary internal medicine, severe liver disease, infectious and immunology, infectious diseases, tuberculosis, endoscopy center, blood purification center, and physical examination center. The hospital has obvious medical characteristics with an internal liver disease clinical center integrating multidisciplinary collaborative medical teams. It is equipped with advanced medical equipment including DSA, 3.0T MRI, ROBIOEX robotic system, digital operating rooms, ECMO, MARS artificial liver, 320-slice CT, DR, and other state-of-the-art facilities.
