Jiading District Dental Disease Prevention Institute's predecessor was the Stomatology Department of Jiading County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, established in February 1986. It is the earliest established dental disease prevention institute among Shanghai's suburban counties. The hospital currently has a building area of 630 square meters, with departments including oral medicine, oral surgery, oral restoration, orthodontics, and prevention. The hospital currently has 23 staff members, including 16 doctors, 1 technician, and 2 nurses. Over more than ten years, under the leadership of the district health bureau and guidance of the municipal dental prevention institute, the dental prevention institute has made outstanding achievements in dental disease prevention and treatment work in Jiading District.
