Zhujiajiao People's Hospital is located at No. 117 Xinfeng Road in the center of Zhujiajiao Town, a famous scenic tourist area in Shanghai, adjacent to Shanghai's largest five-arch bridge and Meizhou Lane tourist commodity street, with an excellent geographical location. The hospital has been established for fifty years and is a comprehensive district-level hospital, serving as the medical, scientific research, and teaching center for the western Qingpu area, with basically complete clinical and technical departments and an increasingly improved echelon structure. The hospital was founded in 1949, originally named "Qingpu County People's Government People's Hospital," and changed to its current name in 1969. The second name "Qingpu District Geriatric Hospital": As the urban population aging degree continues to increase, to meet medical market demands, with the care and support of Shanghai Municipal and District Health Bureaus, District Government, and all sectors of society, in October 2000, the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau approved Zhujiajiao People's Hospital to use the second name "Qingpu District Geriatric Hospital."
